The Global Waves Project officially launches at the Ocean Sciences 2014 conference held at the Hawaii Convention Center, Honolulu, HI. Stop by our exhibit booth #64E and pick up some sweet GWP swag, such as a cool silicone wristband with the GWP logo. We'll also hold daily raffles that will give volunteers who sign up with us a chance to win super awesome electronics and gift certificates.

The Global Waves Project is experimenting with 3D printing of the WaveChecker; housing. Initial results are encouraging!

The instrument housing has been redesigned. There are now three new designs which will be used to test 3D printing capability. Durability tests will be conducted on the new housings as well as wave basin tests.
